This two-year course combines online and face to face learning amounting to 20 days per year. The course focusses on theory, change processes, counselling skills and students’ personal development.
This Diploma takes a unique integrative approach that addresses the complexity of what it is to be human. It integrates elements of Transactional Analysis, psychoanalysis, Systemic practice and theories of human development to help the therapist gain deeper insight into a client’s underlying issues.
Successful completion of the Diploma provides a Diploma in counselling equivalent to 120 SCQF credits at SCQF level 11

COSCA Counselling Skills certificate
Accreditation of prior learning (APEL) may be considered. This applies to entry onto both year 1 and year 2.
